The exact scope of the services for each booking will be as agreed with the Customer during the booking process and confirmed in our job details or quotation.

We reserve the right to refuse to collect certain items that are prohibited by law, unsafe to handle, or unsuitable for our service, including but not limited to hazardous waste, clinical or medical waste, asbestos, gas bottles, certain chemicals, and other regulated materials.

3. Booking Process

3.1 Bookings can be made by telephone, email or via our online enquiry process where available. A booking is only considered confirmed once we have accepted your request and provided a scheduled collection date and indicative pricing.

3.2 Customers must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking, including the type and approximate quantity of waste, access details, location, and any special requirements. Our quote and the time allocated for the job are based on the information provided.

3.3 We may request photographs or further details of the waste and the collection area to assist in providing a more accurate estimate.

3.4 All bookings are subject to availability and to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

4. Quotations and Pricing

4.1 Any price indicated before the collection is an estimate only and is based on the information you supply. The final price may vary depending on the actual volume, weight, and nature of the waste, as well as the ease of access and time required to complete the work.

4.2 Our pricing typically reflects factors such as labour, transport, disposal charges, and compliance with waste regulations. Additional charges may apply for items that carry special disposal fees or require additional handling.

4.3 If, on arrival, the waste is materially different from that described at the time of booking, we may revise the quotation. If you do not accept the revised quotation, we may cancel the service and reserve the right to charge a call-out or cancellation fee to cover our costs.

4.4 Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and, where applicable, will include VAT or other applicable taxes. We will inform you if VAT is included or added.

5. Payments

5.1 Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may require full or partial payment in advance for certain bookings.

5.2 We accept common payment methods such as cash, card payments, or bank transfer, subject to availability and any conditions we notify you of at the time of booking.

5.3 For account or commercial customers, payment terms must be agreed in advance. In the absence of an agreed credit arrangement, invoices are payable immediately upon receipt.

5.4 If payment is not received when due, we reserve the right to charge interest and reasonable debt recovery costs, and to suspend or cancel further services until outstanding sums are settled.

6. Cancellations and Amendments

6.1 You may cancel or reschedule your booking by contacting us directly. We request that at least 24 hours notice is provided for cancellations or significant changes to your booking.

6.2 If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or if we attend the site and are unable to carry out the work due to circumstances within your control, we may charge a cancellation or call-out fee to cover our costs.

6.3 We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to your booking, such as alterations in waste volume or collection time. However, changes are subject to availability and may affect the price.

6.4 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, or other operational issues. In such cases, we will aim to provide as much notice as practicable and will offer an alternative date or a refund of any payment made for the affected service.

7. Access and Customer Responsibilities

7.1 You must ensure that our team has safe, reasonable, and unobstructed access to the waste at the agreed time. This includes providing any necessary permissions, keys, gate codes, parking arrangements, or access instructions.

7.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that the waste to be collected is clearly separated from items not intended for removal. We are not liable for any items taken away in error where they were not clearly and reasonably identifiable as items to be retained.

7.3 If access is restricted or unsafe, or if the waste is not ready for collection, we may be unable to complete the service. In such circumstances, we may charge a call-out or waiting fee, or cancel the service and treat the booking as a late cancellation.

7.4 You must not ask our team to undertake tasks that are unsafe, outside the scope of the agreed services, or in breach of health and safety rules.

8. Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance

8.1 We operate in accordance with applicable UK waste management legislation and duty of care requirements. We hold or use appropriate waste carrier registration where required by law.

8.2 All waste collected will be transported to authorised facilities for reuse, recycling, recovery or disposal in line with legal and environmental obligations. We aim to minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill where reasonably practicable.

8.3 You confirm that you are the owner of the waste or are authorised to arrange its removal. By handing the waste to us, you transfer ownership of that waste to us at the point of collection, subject to applicable legislation.

8.4 You must not include in your waste any items that are illegal to possess, store or transport, or any hazardous materials that you have not declared to us in advance. If we discover such items, we may refuse to collect them, charge additional fees for safe handling, or notify the relevant authorities where required.

9. Liability and Limitations

9.1 We will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing our services. However, our liability to you is limited as set out in this section.

9.2 We are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from information you provide that is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, or for events outside our reasonable control.

9.3 While our team will take reasonable care when working on your premises, you agree to remove or protect any items that may be at risk of accidental damage during the clearance process. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, or for minor cosmetic damage that could reasonably occur when removing bulky or heavy items from the property.

9.4 If we are found liable for any loss or damage, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with a particular service shall not exceed the total price paid or payable by you for that service, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

9.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law.

10. Insurance

10.1 We maintain appropriate insurance cover in connection with our waste collection and clearance activities, including public liability insurance, in line with industry practice.

10.2 The existence of insurance does not extend or increase our liability beyond what is set out in these Terms and Conditions or required by law.

11. Complaints and Disputes

11.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you should contact us as soon as possible, providing details of the issue and any supporting information. We will review your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period.

11.2 We may request photographs, access to the site, or further information to investigate and, where appropriate, to remedy any problem.

11.3 We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to consider alternative dispute resolution methods before starting court proceedings where appropriate.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

12.1 We will collect and use personal information about you to manage your booking, provide our services, process payments and communicate with you. This may include your name, contact details, address, and service history.

12.2 We will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws. We will not sell your personal data to third parties and will only share it where necessary to deliver our services, comply with legal obligations, or with your consent.

15.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the provision of our services.

16. Entire Agreement

16.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with any written quotation, booking confirmation, or specific written agreement between you and us, constitute the entire agreement between the parties relating to the provision of our rubbish clearance and waste collection services.

16.2 You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation that is not expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions or in any written communication forming part of our agreement.
